Citroen C3 automatic prices start at Rs. 10 lakh

• Offered in four variants
• Was previously available only with a six-speed manual gearbox

Citroen India has revealed the prices of the automatic versions of the C3, which start at Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Originally showcased in August this year, the hatchback is now offered with a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Under the hood, the Citroen C3 is powered by a 1.2-litre, turbo-petrol engine producing 109bhp and 205Nm. This output is higher by 15Nm than its manual counterpart. This engine was previously available only with a six-speed manual transmission, while a five-speed unit was offered with the naturally aspirated version of the 1.2-litre petrol engine.

Earlier this year, Citroen also updated the feature list of the C3, and, compared to the outgoing version, it now comes equipped with a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, six airbags, auto-folding ORVMs, LED projector headlamps, and automatic climate control.
