Last week, Citroen India commenced bookings of the Basalt coupe SUV, prices of which start at Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has now revealed the variant details of the Tata Curvv rival.
In terms of variants, the Citroen Basalt is available in three options, namely You, Plus, and Max. Customers can also choose from a range of seven colours – Polar White, Steel Grey, Platinum Grey, Cosmo Blue, Garnet Red, Polar White with Nera Black, and Garnet Red with Nera Black.
Feature-wise, the new Basalt coupe SUV comes equipped with split headlamps, sloping roofline, dual-tone alloy wheels, wraparound taillights, automatic climate control, flip key, three-step adjustable thigh support for the second-row occupants, large touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital, coloured driver’s display.
Powering the Basalt is a 1.2-litre petrol engine in turbocharged and naturally aspirated versions. These engines are paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. We have driven the car and our review is live on the website.
