General Motors announced that they will launch the Trailblazer for the Indian market this year. In a few days after this announcement, the new SUV was recently spotted testing here.
Based on a pick-up truck, Colorado, the Trailblazer is a huge vehicle with ample space to accommodate seven passengers comfortably. The full-fledged SUV from General Motors is known for its road presence and comes equipped with Chevrolet's latest-generation MyLink infotainment system. This system provides smartphone connectivity, streaming audio and video and users can access personal playlists and make hands-free calls.
The Trailblazer SUV is powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine that comes mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. There might be another variant at the time of the launch that will get a five-speed manual transmission.
We brought to your notice recently that two units of the SUV have been brought to our country for research and development and now the company has started testing the cars on Indian soil. The Trailblazer will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero and the upcoming new-gen Ford Endeavour when it goes on sale later this year.
