GM’s upcoming SUV, the Chevrolet Trailblazer, has once again been spotted testing in Pune. The spy pictures give us a glimpse of the interior of the seven-seater SUV, along with some clear shots of the exterior.
The front of the Trailblazer gets the familiar split mesh grille design. The sweptback headlights integrate projector units and LED DRLs and sit at the edges of the tall bonnet. Inside, the Trailblazer gets full leather upholstery with a black dashboard and an LCD display in the centre console. For the Indian market, the Trailblazer will be offered with a 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine which produces 200bhp and 500Nm of torque. It will be offered in both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. Though this specific test mule came with a six-speed automatic gearbox, reports suggest that GM might also offer a manual entry-level variant in the Indian market.
The Trailblazer is expected to be launched in India in the next couple of months, with a price tag in the range of Rs 32 lakh to Rs 40 lakh. It will compete with other SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and the upcoming next-generation Ford Endeavour.
