The webpage for the Chevrolet Trailblazer has gone live, ahead of its probable launch later this month. The American automaker had showcased the SUV at the 2014 Auto Expo and announced earlier this year that it would bring the car to the Indian market by the end of the year. We have already driven the SUV and you can read all about it here.
It is powered by a 2.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder mill that produces 198bhp and 500Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear-wheels via a six-speed AT. The Trailblazer is expected to be offered in a single top-spec variant (LTZ) whose standard features include climate control, MYLINK infotainment system with touchscreen and more than sufficient space in the cabin for seven people. Further, there are also dual airbags for the front passengers, ABS with EBD, traction control and a stability control package.
We expect that Chevrolet will price the Trailblazer around Rs 25 lakh when it is launched. It competes with the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and the Toyota Fortuner.
