Chevrolet is busy testing what looks like the new US-spec version of the Cruze. We say US-spec because GM has already introduced the latest version of the D-segment sedan; however, it’s the China-spec model that was revealed in April last year.
The test mule in these spy pictures is seen wearing a different front-end complete with a redesigned hood, grille and the front bumper.
In all probability, the new Cruze will be offered with the same set of petrol and diesel engines as the current model, meaning an engine range consisting of 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and 2-litre units will be put to use. Very little detail on this new model is known although one can expect it to be officially showcased later this year or in early 2016.
