In terms of design upgrades, Chevrolet has added a lot of chrome for the exterior trim including the window sill, exhaust pipe and door handles. The brand has also included tinted windshield glass and door glass. Inside, meanwhile, the black and titanium wraparound theme for the Corvette-style dashboard continues. What’s new though is the load of new equipment that’s on offer on the Cruze facelift.
The highlighting new feature is the MyLink infotainment system with a rear-view camera. This new infotainment system comes with embedded applications including internet radio, Bluetooth audio streaming with voice recognition control and touch controls for the climate control. Other features include dual airbags at the front, side airbags, ABS, electric sunroof, 6-way power adjustable driver seat, rain-sensing wipers and keyless start.
The Cruze facelift comes with both 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox option for the turbocharged 2-litre VCDi engine. The engine makes class-leading 166bhp of power and 380Nm of torque.
