> Looks similar to the outgoing model
> To be powered by 650bhp/881Nm LT4 V8 motor
> Comes with ambient lighting options and Chevy’s Infotainment 3 system
Our spy photographers have shot the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 on the streets of Detroit without any masking.
Although Chevrolet has already launched the 2019 Camaro, the ZL1 is the only iteration that wasn’t introduced. However, that’s about to change since these pictures prove otherwise. But what hasn’t changed are the looks of the ZL1.
Surprisingly, it hasn’t received the same changes as the rest of the 2019 Camaro line-up, such as the dashing new redesigned grille. Instead, the ZL1 makes do with the same nose as the outgoing model. Nevertheless, it does get fitted with the new tail lamps and the tweaked rear bumper.
Powering the new ZL1 will be the same supercharged LT4 V8 motor that packs 650bhp and a smashing 881Nm of torque. Reports state that the TREMEC six-speed manual and 10-speed automatic transmissions will continue to power the rear wheels of the 2019 ZL1. Stay tuned for the details in the time to come.
