The excessive rains and the resultant floods that ravaged the capital city of Tamil Nadu resulted in a huge loss of life and property with one of the worst affected being the vehicles. Many vehicles were submerged or water-logged. Nissan has appointed a dedicated manager at each service station in the region to help Nissan customers avail optimum solutions.
Nissan has reached out to customers through phone and social media to inform them about the resumption of service. Nissan has also tried to assist owners through social media with tips to avoid consequential damages that may go out of the purview of insurance to minimise their losses.
Nissan is concentrating on availability of spares in Chennai along with the dealers deploying service vans to attend the marooned cars. Nissan will soon undertake a service camp for its customers with thorough check-up and genuine spares at a discounted price for Chennai-based customers.
