CEAT Tyres has launched two all-new ranges of tyres in India. The Mumbai-based tyre manufacturer has entered the luxury tyre segment for off-roading SUVs with the 'Czar' range while the 'Gripp LN' series will cater to premium hatchbacks and sedans.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Nitish Bajaj, Vice President, marketing, CEAT Ltd. said, “India in the past few years has witnessed a tremendous surge in sales of ultra-premium and luxury class of vehicles. With the launch of the Czar and Gripp LN series, we would like to extend CEAT’s quality and assurance to these segments of the market. The new Czar range boasts of thick 'panther paw' blocks of threading, making it suitable for extreme off-road driving. The Czar range is available in two versions, All-Terrain (A/T) and Highway-Terrain (H/T) and is suitable for basic SUVs like Tata Sumo and Marshall right up to premium SUVs like Mitsubishi Montero and Audi Q5.
The Gripp LN series is CEAT's newest offering in the range of premium passenger car radial tyres. Besides the manufacturer's customary grip and durability technology, the Gripp LN series comes with 'Noise Reduction Technology'. With the Low Noise property been certified under European certification ECE 117 and IDIADA, CEAT claims a better driving experience by providing a quieter drive at any kind of speed. The reinforced blocks offer better handling while the silica-based tread compound offer better grip in the wet and better efficiency. The Gripp LN series is suitable for premium hatchbacks like Ford Figo as well as sedans like Toyota Camry.
