As Caterham’s 300bhp SP/300.R sports prototype nears completion, customers will get the chance to put the new car through its paces for the first time on Thursday, 1 March.
The supercharged racer, created in partnership with Lola Cars, will sit alongside the legendary Seven in Caterham’s product portfolio, remaining true to its lightweight, minimalist DNA to deliver thrilling performance. Bearing subtle design cues from the Seven, Caterham’s new car replicates the Company’s core motorsport values of affordability, reliability and accessibility.
Prospective customers and those who have already paid deposits will be able to climb aboard the SP/300.R for the first time at Rockingham Motor Speedway on Thursday, just a few days after Caterham F1 driver, Heikki Kovalainen, gave it a shakedown in Jerez, Spain, during a pre-season Formula 1 test. The Uk launch of the SP/300.R is May and it will soon come into India after that.
