Carzonrent has tied up with Tata Motors, and has been handed over 200 Nano Twists by them. They can be booked for self-driving in Delhi. These cars can be rented for Rs 99 per hour, Rs 399 per day or Rs 6,999 a month and can be booked online or via the phone and can be collected from 43 locations across the city.
According to Mr. Deepankar Tiwari, Head - Institutional Sales, Tata Motors,” The Nano Twist is the perfect smart city car for zipping through Delhi-NCR. We are delighted to associate with Carzonrent and through this partnership we will reach out to a larger customer base and give them an opportunity to experience the awesome Nano in a self-drive avatar.”
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajiv Kr Vij, Managing Director & CEO, Carzonrent (I) Ltd. said, “Being a thoroughly customer focused brand, we believe in creating exciting options for our consumers that are economical, convenient and easily available. Myles City-Drive with Nano Twist will provide the city commuters a license to drive, empowering them to do and enjoy everyday life a little more.”
This novel concept of self-driving cars is pretty much non-existent in India. The hazards of renting out a car that will be driven by customers being high, not many offer this service. With manufacturers like Tata coming forward to support this service, we might just see more rental companies offering self-drive cars in the future.
