It’s that time of year again when cars invariably find their way to the garage. But this year, car owners can show their mechanics who the boss is!
This monsoon India’s #1 automotive portal CarWale is conducting a series of free workshops titled ’My Garage’. These workshops will educate car owners about the basics of car care – simple everyday things they can do themselves to keep their car running trouble-free.
This unique initiative offers car owners helpful tips and tricks that their mechanics might not reveal to them and some key safety information that could be useful in the unfortunate event of an emergency. The workshops are designed in a lively, interactive and easy ‘Do-It-Yourself’ format with each session lasting 30-40 minutes. The demonstrations will be conducted by CarWale’s own team of experts, comprising of Kartik Ganesh (Editor), Rachna Tyagi (Principal Correspondent) and Rachit Hirani (Correspondent).
CarWale has also partnered with Carnation to offer a free pre-monsoon car check-up for all the workshop attendees right at the mall itself. These check-ups will be conducted in the parking area of the mall.
“After the success of the Vintage Car Rally in December and the Nano Drive earlier this year, CarWale’s My Garage is yet another innovation that takes us miles ahead on our drive towards customer delight. We are grateful to our associates and partners like Hindustan Times, Inorbit and Carnation who have come aboard and helped make all this possible†says Mohit Dubey, CEO of CarWale.
The workshops will be held at Inorbit Mall, Vashi on the weekend of 12 – 13 June 2010 and at Inorbit Mall, Malad the following weekend 19 – 20 June 2010. CarWale would also like to thank Ford India Ltd. for their support in providing a Ford Fiesta which is the car being used for display at the event.
