Maruti Suzuki is offering all petrol variants of the Ritz with an Rs 15,000 cash discount. CarWale spoke to a MSIL dealer who confirmed the discount and added that it would go up to Rs 20,000 if the customer was planning to exchange an old car for a new Ritz.
However, these discounts will be offered only till the end of the year and is most likely a move by the dealers to clear stocks of the older models and boost sales which tend to become sluggish after the festival season.
Reports also suggest that dealerships have begun taking bookings for the Ritz Automatic. The booking amount is Rs 50,000 and deliveries are expected to begin by the middle of January.
