It’s been six years since the Autobots and the Decepticons jumped out of their comic pages and animated worlds and onto the big screen. The movies gave us an idea what it would be like if your car could transform into a robot and obviously flashed a whole bunch of cool weapons. Most prominent among the list is Bumblebee, a yellow with black stripes Chevrolet Camaro concept car who was the protector of Sam Witwicky. The debut film changed fortunes of Camaro and now Bumblebee will change its getup for the latest edition of the film, sparking rumours that it might become the 2014 edition of the Muscle car.
While retaining the same overall design, Bumblebee gets revised front bumpers, air intake and most importantly a new set of full LED headlights that give the car a much sharper look but remove the heavy face of the current vehicle, a character defining feature. The sides too have become sharper and there are now air intakes at the bottom of both doors. The roof line too gets a sharper rake and more stand out design running down to the back. We are guessing that there will some changes to the interiors to give the car a more modern look.
Now the big question, what’s Bumblebee going to look like after all the major changes to his four-wheeled avatar. That’s something we can keep on predicting and this includes one stream of thought where Bumblebee becomes a Chuck Norris style Ninja thanks to the sharper looks. However, none of these will hold stead until they (Michael Bay) releases an official image of the beloved yellow robot. But till then we can take solace in the fact that this car is likely to be the next generation Chevrolet Camaro and that means shaper looks but with the same overall design.
