A successor for the mighty Bugatti Veyron is expected to be unveiled in 2015. It is expected to be powered by the same quad turbo 8.0-litre engine but this time with a hybrid setup that is slated to produce 1480bhp a jump of 296bhp over the Grand Sport’s 1200bhp.
However, the biggest news is that the new car will have a top speed above the 435.31kmph mark set by the Hennessey Venom GT in a bid to claim the title of the world’s fastest car. Reports suggest that the car will have a production run of 450 units which is quite large considering that the French automaker is yet to sell the last 20 Veyrons in its stock.
We expect that this new car will retain many of the Veyron’s design traits but with obvious changes to the underpinnings and engine.
