This year, Bugatti will cease the production of their record-breaking Veyron hypercar. The final version of the vehicle will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show this year.
Bugatti's Veyron redefined the standards of hypercar performance ever since it was introduced to the automobile market. The final model is expected to be as scintillating as the current Veyron. We believe that it will be a work of art since owners of such cars are surely art collectors.
The highly anticipated successor will benchmark the present Veyron and is speculated to house a 8.0-litre W16 mill under the hood. This motor might be equipped with electric turbochargers and may churn out 1,500bhp of power.
Exclusivity and individuality have always been the key factors for Bugatti and thinking on those lines, we can surely say that the latest model will take some time to be made. The carmaker has created history by making the world's fastest production cars. The Guinness World Record for the fastest production coupe is bagged by the Supersport that churns out 1200bhp of power and a run of 431kmph. Similarly, the Grand Sporte Vitesse holds the record for the fastest open-top roadster that notched a top-speed run of 408.84 kmph. Let us hope that the final iteration also promises to portray what the earlier models did.
