-One-off tribute car to Jean Bugatti’s Type 57C
-Already sold for 18.68 million USD
-16-litre quad turbo W16 producing 1500bhp
If you had to take exclusivity to a new level then Bugatti has outdone its rivals at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show with the La Voiture Noire. This masterpiece, built on the Chiron’s platform, is a tribute to Jean Bugatti’s (son of founder Ettore Bugatti) Type 57C luxury car.
It’s a carbonfibre monster painted in full black, with massive silver wheels and powder blue brake callipers. It follows the shape of the Chiron but literally looks like a Chiron that worked out in a gym besides taking a massive dose of steroids to get buffed up.
One of the major highlights of the design of the La Voiture Noire are the six exhaust pipes sticking out of the rear under the single piece LED brake light. It’s been hailed as one of the few cars where having six exhausts doesn’t make it look crude or straight out of the world of Mad Max.
Powering this one-off beast is the ‘standard’16-litre quad turbo W6 engine that produces 1500bhp/1600Nm. There’s a seven-speed dual clutch automatic and AWD as standard. Bugatti has shaded out the interiors from public view but it is safe to say that every bit of the kit inside is highly customised.
