A BS-VI compliant Tata Tigor facelift was spotted on test in the country. The facelifted model will carry Tata Motors' IMPACT 2.0 design philosophy along with an Altroz-inspired front fascia. It is also believed that the Tigor facelift will not get the 1.05-litre diesel engine.
The Tigor facelift gets a new set of projector headlamps, redesigned grille and revised front bumper. The car is also likely to get a new hood and a re-profiled rear bumper. As for the interior, the Tigor facelift is likely to get added equipment and updated trim. Standard safety kit will include speed alert system, reverse parking sensors and front seat-belt reminder, in addition to dual airbags and ABS with EBD.Â
Under the hood, the Tata Tigor facelift will be powered by a BS-VI compliant 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine that generates 84bhp and 115Nm. It will continue with the five-speed manual and AMT transmission option. As for the pricing, the updated Tigor is likely to cost marginally higher than the existing model.
