Brabus has unveiled the new 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio, which is both the most powerful and fastest four-seater production convertible in the world. Based on the Mercedes S63 AMG Cabriolet, the four-seater can reach 349kmph and on the way reaching 100kmph in just 3.5 seconds.
Powered by a twin-turbocharged V8, the new Brabus 850 delivers 838bhp and 1150Nm of torque through an AWD system with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. That is a whole lot more compared to the donor S63 AMG and also the bigger S65 AMG. Brabus has used lot of carbonfibre parts to reduce the weight of the car, there are also specially made 21-inch lightweight wheels. There are also large air intakes on the bumper to assist with the additional performance.
Inside, it gets aluminium and carbon fibre inserts worthy of such a car. The Brabus is on sale, though the price hasn’t been announced as yet. Also the owners of the S63 can ask Brabus to upgrade their cars to 850 spec.
