- V8 engine is expected to produce over 400bhp
- Will be underpinned by British specialist automaker’s Cross modular platform
- All-wheel drive is expected to be standard
Bowler, the absolutely crazy British automaker that modifies Land Rover Defenders to make them go like a Jaguar F-Type on the road less taken, has released a teaser image for a new Defender V8. The solitary image shows massive wheels, LED projector headlamps and that unmistakable boxy and purposeful stance of the Defender but in a meaner and lowered guise.
There’s not much information on this new beast from the boys at Derbyshire but we know that the V8 is going to produce somewhere around 400bhp and will be underpinned by their bespoke Cross modular platform. This means we can expect to see LWB versions and possibly a six-wheeled model as well.
The car will be revealed in the next two weeks with the order books expected to open shortly after.
