Bosch Chassis Systems India has opened a technical centre at Chakan, near Pune.
The technical centre will provide total design, development and testing framework to Indian automobile manufacturers. These include noise vibration and harshness, integration of the newest simulation models, competence in hydraulic braking systems, with friction material and close coordination with brake modulation like ABS and ESP.
The centre will also extend its services to some overseas automobile companies who find the centre cost effective for their low/medium volume requirements
The technical centre has been set up with an investment of Rs 37 crores and currently employs around 70 qualified engineers.
