M&M launched a CNG variant of the Bolero Pik-Up vehicle yesterday. It will retail for Rs 5.42 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The vehicle has a payload of 1-1.5 tonnes and will cut operating costs by 40% when run on CNG. Of interest was the admission that a CNG-powered Scorpio is on the cards. However, a time frame for its launch wasn't announced, the main reason quoted being the lack of CNG across the country.
