BMW has once again launched a petrol powered model for its big X6 coupe SUV. Dubbed the 35i M Sport, it is a gasoline variant and has returned after a long time with a pricing of Rs 94.15 lakhs (All India ex-showroom).
You get all the quirkiness of the X6 but with an M Sport kit to make the car more appealing. This includes the M Spec bumpers, skirts and beautiful M spec wheels. Similarly, the cabin gets an M spec steering wheel, seats and of course, the badging. It is priced Rs 32 lakhs lesser than the equivalent diesel variant (40d M Sport) and has exactly the same features and appearance save for the change in badging.
The’i’ in 35i comes from a 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine that produces 302bhp/400Nm with power going to all four wheels via an eight-speed AT and xDrive all-wheel drive system. In terms of measurements, it is 4.9-meters with a wheelbase of 2.9-meters.
The X6 35i M Sport takes on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe (Rs 96.37 lakhs), Range Rover Velar 2.0-litre R Dynamic petrol (Rs 91.85 lakhs) and the entry-level Range Rover Sport SDV6 S (Rs 93.81 lakhs). In addition, you also get the Porsche Cayenne S petrol (Rs 96.89 lakhs) as well as the top spec Macan Turbo which is priced at Rs 1.03 crores.
