BMW’s much-awaited sport crossover – the X4, is finally coming. The brand has made it official that its newest model will debut on March 6, before going on sale by the end of this year. To keep the buzz alive, BMW has even released a teaser video showing a glimpse of the X4.
The new X4 is based on the same platform as the X3. However, the former will carry a sportier appearance than the X3 thanks to it being lower and wider than the more practical X3.
The X4 is expected to be powered by the same set of engines and drive-train options as the X3. BMW is also expected to offer this new model in both rear and all-wheel-drive configurations. With the recently introduced Porsche Macan in its sight, the new X4 will go on sale in the premium crossover segment by the end of this year.
While BMW India has made no plans to introduce the X4 to its current lineup anytime soon, we can certainly expect the car to eventually arrive in the Indian market.
