-Will be the second coupe SUV in the German automaker’s line up
-Diesel and petrol power for India
-Expected to be priced around 60 lakhs
The BMW X4 coupe SUV was spotted testing in India ahead of its debut in the country next year. It’s going to be the second coupe SUV from the German automaker and will take on the Mercedes GLC coupe and the Range Rover Evoque.
The car that was spotted is a white model and while the variant is kind of hard to decipher, our best bet would be that it’s a diesel powered 20d model as this is a common engine being used across various BMW models in India. This engine is assembled in India and produces 188bhp/400Nm. There’s AWD and a ZF 8-speed transmission.
While the front of the car carries the design cues of the latest generation BMW X design, it’s the rear that gives the car its unique look, thanks to a magnified coupe design combined with the high riding nature of an SUV. The X4 and X3 will share much of their interiors, right down to the upholstery, feature list and the layout as well.
