German luxury car manufacturer BMW has silently introduced a new X3 variant, the xDrive 20d M Sport, in India at Rs 54 lakhs (all-India). The M Sport emerges as the new top-spec trim in the X3 product lineup and has been introduced as a replacement to the xLine variant. The X3 xDrive 20d M Sport gets more features while mechanically it continues to be powered by the existing 2.0-litre diesel engine.
The 187bhp producing inline-four engine comes mated to an eight-speed steptronic sport automatic transmission and in addition to the regular three driving modes (Ecopro, Comfort and Sport) it also offers the ‘Sport+’ mode. The vehicle gets larger 18-inch star-spoke styled alloy wheels along with four colour options – Melbourne red, space grey, carbon black and alpine white. The vehicle also comes with M Sport package which includes individual headliner anthracite, high-gloss shadow line, M Aerodynamics package, M door sill finishers, sport seats for driver and front passenger and ‘M’ chrome badges on left and right front wings.
As for features, the X3 M Sport gets a larger 8.7-inch with iDrive Touch and map support. The top-spec variant also gets a Hi-Fi loudspeaker system with nine loudspeakers and seven channels. For convenience, it includes a storage compartment package which includes x12 V power sockets, storage nets, rear armrest with two cupholders, odoments trays with separators, and more. The vehicle also gets Nevada leather options in Beige and Mocha options.
