BMW has released a statement expressing their intent to reveal a plethora of M Performance accessories at the 2016 SEMA Show (Las Vegas).
What stands out is the new rear wing made entirely out of carbon fibre for the M3 saloon and the traditional M colours and ‘M Performance’ badging. Both the M3 and M4 coupe will get a carbon fibre engine cover and a suspension that lowers the height by 5mm to 20mm.
There’s also a new set of light 19-inch and 20-inch alloys for the front and rear that BMW claims, uses the latest tech from the company’s motorsport program. These wheels will make the M2, M3, and M4 look swanky thanks to the matte black finish.
It doesn’t end here and BMW is prepared to have a few accessories up their sleeve for other models including their flagship 7 Series and these will most certainly include fresh alloy designs and sporty exhausts. There’s also talk of the 340i and 440i (US versions) getting performance upgrades like an increase of 35bhp along with a sportier note from the exhaust due to the ‘Sound Kit’.
We shall have more news once the SEMA Show gets going in the next few days.
