BMW India will be introducing the fourth variant of the 5 Series in the country – the 530i M Sport. This will be the top-spec petrol variant of the executive sedan positioned above the 530i Sport Line, and the second M Sport variant after the 530d. When launched, the 530i M Sport is expected to be priced between Rs 55-60 lakhs.
The 530i M Sport is distinguished by its aggressive front bumper with massive air intakes and the dual rectangular exhaust tips at the back. It has adaptive LED headlights, LED fog lamps, panoramic roof and sporty 18-inch M-spec alloy wheels as well. The exterior paint options for the 530i M Sport include Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Mediterranean Blue and Bluestone.
The cabin gets special treatment as well with sports seats, Aluminium Rhombicle interior trim with pearl chrome highlights all around the cabin, Dakota leather upholstery, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The touchscreen infotainment system comes with all the BMW connectivity features such as gesture control, navigation and Apple CarPlay. Other features include BMW Display Key, Remote Control Parking, a 360-degree camera with Park Assistant, Comfort Access System, and wireless charging.
Under the hood, the 530i M Sport has the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol which produces 248bhp at 5200rpm and 350Nm of torque accessible between 1,450-4,800rpm. The transmission is an eight-speed DCT with paddle-shifters sending power to rear wheels.
