The global market received the upgraded BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo last year. As for the Indian market, the German automaker will be launching the new model on October 18. Along with fresh technological upgrades, the new model will get mild cosmetic upgrades.
Globally, the vehicle is offered with three all-new petrol engines which develop 183bhp to 323bhp, while five diesel engine options range between 149bhp to 310bhp of power. To make things more interesting, the new model will be offered in 18 engine, transmission and drive configurations.The 2016 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo will be offered in three trim levels: Sport Line, Luxury Line, and M Sport.
In terms of design, the front gets a revised grille and tweaked headlamps. The automaker will now offer LED headlamps as standard and the bumpers have been redesigned for sportiness. Though the sides look similar to its predecessor, they do get new alloy wheels. As for rear, it gets LED taillamps and a bigger bumper. The interior will get premium upholstery and infotainment system with satellite navigation and upgraded switchgear. We will give you more updates as the launch date comes closer
