BMW has taken the covers off the 2014 Z4 Roadster and boy is it stunning! The German automaker has not changed overall design on two-seater but has refreshed a lot of bits across the car to give it a fresh look. This is likely to be last model in this design scheme before BMW unveils an all-new version.
Changes to the outside of the Z4 include a revised headlight cluster, new alloy wheels and sharper aggressive lines running across the front and the side that also aid to the aerodynamic efficiency and grip. The car is also being offered in three new colours; Mineral Grey, Glacier Silver and Valencia orange.
BMW seems to have continued with the power colour theme and is offering a Hyper Orange interior trim package. This comprises contrast coloured panels, accents and stitching on the upholstery. Other changes inside include gloss black trim for the air vents, special anthracite wooden finish and improvements to the Connecteddrive system.
The engine line up remains the same as the outgoing model with the exception of a new 2.0-litre mill, which produces 154bhp and 240Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the wheels via six-speed manual or eight speed automatic. The new Z4 is also available with the M performance package.
The car will hit showrooms across Europe in April 2013. Since it is brought to the country as a CBU, we can expect it to arrive here a few months later and cost slightly more.
