BMW has previewed the 7 Series LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) – a mild facelift of their flagship sedan, for select invitees in Jodhpur. The facelift version was unveiled by Sachin Tendulkar and Dia Mirza at the Jodhpur One World Retreat held from March 8 to 10.
The 7 Series facelift has updated front fascia with all-LED headlamps, refreshed kidney grille, new front bumper and ORVMs with integrated turn indicators. The changes to the rear includes slightly refreshed tail lamp console and chrome insert for the rear bumper.
There are few changes to the inside as well including redesigned leather seats, new hardware for the iDrive system and 9.2inch individual screens for rear passengers.
BMW India did not reveal the 7 Series LCI variants that will be sold in India; but the 730LD will certainly be a part of the list. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8 and Jaguar XJ competitor was updated last year and is already on sale in most global markets. The India launch is just around the corner, with sources confirming that the assembly of the new version has already commenced at the Chennai facility.
