BMW India has opened a new showroom in Madri Industrial Area in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Called Sanghi Classic, the new dealership has the capacity to display two cars indoors with additional space in the extended gallery.
Mr. Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India said, “Following a vision of sustainable growth, BMW India is committed to exceed customer expectations and create customer delight. The development of a BMW dealer network plays a key role in achieving our vision. With the launch of Sanghi Classic Udaipur, we will continue to set new standards in the premium car market in Rajasthan and provide high quality services to our customers and prospects.”
The showroom has been designed along the Reception at the Car (RATC) and Urban Street Display concept, a typical BMW layout with a consultation lounge, sales and after-sales desk. Sanghi Classic Udaipur also has provision for vehicle inspection for service drop-offs for cars which are to be sent to its branch in Jaipur.
Since entering the luxury car market seven years ago, BMW has set up 38 showrooms across the country. BMW recently announced that it was going to start concentrating on the high-end cars, rather than just focus on volumes in order to have a profitable growth as a part of its new strategy. The German manufacturer has nine cars in its Indian portfolio, a majority of which are locally assembled at the company’s facility in Chennai.
