BMW Motorsports has revealed pictures of its upcoming lethal weapon - the M6 GT3. The M6 GT3 will make its race debut in 2016 and development work is in full swing.
German race car driver – Jorg Muller who drives for BMW has got his hands on the car and seems to be impressed by it.
“It is a fantastic moment when you walk into the garage and see this stunningly beautiful car.”
“It’s engine really impressed me. It is powerful and has good torque, which is important for a car like this.” he added.
Powering the M6 GT3 will be the 4.4-litre V8 that is found in BMW’s road cars alas it is restricted to 500bhp here. It will be mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox and power will be sent to the rear-wheels.
It gets race suspension, roll cage, a large rear wing and might weigh less than 1,300kgs.
