BMW M4 GTS spied in Lapland

The BMW M4 GTS is coming soon and we managed to get our hands on pictures of a test mule doing the rounds in Lapland, Finland. The M4 GTS will be an exclusive and faster version of the M4 and will be the fastest 4 Series to go on sale.

The test mule was seen wearing negligible camouflage and apart from the large rear wing (trademark GTS spoiler) it would be quite hard to make out the differences. The front bumper gets an additional lip, and the spoiler on the boot looks larger than its predecessor was seen wearing. The rear looks identical to the standard M4, but will mostly have a large diffuser at the back in the production version.

While it is hard to guess the changes inside the M3 GTS had Recaro seats, no rear-seats which might be the case with the M4 GTS too.This car will be be powered by the same TwinPower 3.0-litre straight-six engine, but will be bored out for more power. Expect the same 7-speed M-DCT gearbox to do the transmission duties. There were only 135 M3 GTS' ever made and the M4 is also expected to be made in limited numbers.
