BMW has released a batch of 251 photos and a few videos to showcase its new model the M4 Cabriolet. The cabrio features a three-section folding metal roof that takes a little under 20 seconds to open and close and works at speeds up to 18kmph (11mph).
The M4 Cabriolet is powered by a 3.0-litreTwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine churning out 425bhp and 550Nm of torque. This engine is mated to six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission.
The M4 features a host of technologies from the performance division to enhance the driving experience. The list consists of theActive M Differential, M compound brakes, an M-tuned electromechanical steering system and M carbon ceramic brakes with gold-painted calipers. The car also features an Adaptive M suspension and can be set in three different modes (Comfort, Sport & Sport+).
The M4 Cabrio hits an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph (155mph) and hits the 0-100 kmph barrier in 4.4 seconds.
BMW has announced that it will launch the M4 this year in India. But, we don’t expect the Cabriolet to be launched here,instead we will get the coupe version of the car. All we say is that there are good times ahead for the enthusiasts in India.
