The Geneva Motor Show is one of the biggest and most important auto shows every year. The 2018 edition of the Swiss auto show opens its gates next month and BMW has revealed its showcars line-up. And most of the cars will be making their European debut at the BMW stall.
BMW will celebrate the public debit of the recently revealed all-new X4 at the Geneva stage. It will be joined by the first ever X2 as well. The X4 was the second crossover-coupe design by BMW after the X6. It received a major overhaul after being in production for four years. Meanwhile, the X2 is the newest member of BMW’s X family and to the X1 it is what the X4 is to the X3. BMW will also take the opportunity to showcase the new and updated 2 Series Active Tourer and the 2 Series Gran Tourer. The pair received a discreet mid-life update with subtle changes and additional features late last year. The 2018 model year update also received a revised powertrain and a new 8.8-inch infotainment screen.
The all-new i8 Roadster made its debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Motor Show in November last year and made its appearance at the 2018 Auto Expo in Delhi earlier this month. Now the i8 Roadster is set to make its European entrance in Geneva. The drop-top i8 will be joined by other vehicles from BMW iPerformance vertical celebrating a milestone of 100,000 vehicles sold in 2017.
The special edition M3 CS will also grace its presence at the Geneva. The M3 CS is the most hardcore variant of the sports car you can buy right now. It is more performance-oriented than the serious Competition Pack and scrounges many hardware bits from the maniacal (but discontinued) M4 GTS. The M3 CS has a limited production run of 1,200 units and will go on sale right after the Geneva debut.
