BMW has launched the new sixth generation of the 5-Series at Munich. The new BMW 5-Series is built on the modified 7-Series chassis. The new 5-Series is bigger and heavier than the outgoing 5-Series model.
The new 5-Series sports a 7-Series look alike front grille, however the profile is more like the 3-Series. The new monocoque chassis sports double wishbone with cast-aluminium control arms at its front and Integral-V at its rear. This sedan will even feature a 8-speed transmission for the first time. We hope to see this new-gen BMW to land on the Indian shores.
