With 500 cars delivered to customers in January 2011, BMW India has achieved leadership position in the luxury car segment in India in the begining of the year. There were 15 BMW X1's that were delivered in India and the demand of the car is certainly on a high.

With expansion plans now in place and the company has already put other luxury car-makers like Mercedes-Benz and Audi behind as regards sales figures, BMW has started the year on a high for sure.
