BMW 8 Series to debut in production form in June
-Concept car was unveiled in May 2017
-New flagship GT car
-Underpinned by the new CLAR platform
- Range is also expected to get a cabrio, four-door gran coupe model and high performance M8 model
- Set to launch in early 2019

BMW will finally showcase the production version of the 8 Series at the 2018 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race. The race will see BMW debuting the 8 Series GTE racer during the legendary race and it only seems logical to showcase production model at the same time.

We expect that BMW will offer the car in petrol and hybrid guises with the former expected to have both V8 and V12 options on offer. The 8 Series is coming to India albeit in limited numbers. Expect to see it here by mid-2019.
