Four years after being introduced in the market, the current generation BMW 6 Series is due for a major facelift. The popular grand tourer has been spied again in its facelifted avatar, this time with a camouflaged interior.
If the report is to be believed, the 6 Series could gain a bigger a touchscreen display and a revised set of buttons and knobs. As for the exterior, design updates will be limited to the front bumper, headlights and the taillights.
Under the hood, the engine range will largely remain the same. BMW, however, is likely to make a few revisions for improved efficiency across the range. The high-performance M6 model will continue to be powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine developing 560hp and 680 Nm of torque.
The facelifted 6 Series will go on sale sometime next year. We expect BMW India to launch this upcoming model, soon after its global launch.
