BMW, one of the leading premium automakers in the country, has further expanded the 3 series product line-up in the country with the launch of 320d Edition Sport. Changes are limited to cosmetic detailing to distinguish it from other variants while mechanically it continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that generates 188bhp of power and 400Nm of peak torque. The rear wheel drive system is driven by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The new BMW 320d Edition Sport is available in alpine white (non-metallic color) and black sapphire and Mediterranean blue (metallic color). The traditional kidney grille in high-gloss black gives it a premium look. The 320d Edition Sport offers a range of fine upholstery combinations like sensatec black/red highlight, Black and Sensatec Veneto Beige, and Veneto Beige. Inside, the vehicle gets sporting chrome scaling at console, red contrast stitching on the sport steering wheel and gear shift paddles.
Speaking of features, the BMW 320d gets a 6.5-inch colour display with CD drive, BMW Apps, Bluetooth and USB/AUX IN connectivity and a rear view camera along with Park Distance Control. The vehicle also gets an electric glass sunroof and the 205 Watt, 9 speaker Hi-Fi loudspeaker system. The vehicle key fob is also offered in red. Moreover, it offers four driving modes - Comfort, ECO PRO, Sport and Sport+.
In terms of safety, the BMW 320d comes loaded with six air bags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Side-impact Protection, ISOFIX child seat mounting, Runflat tyres (RFT) with reinforced sidewalls, emergency spare wheel, electronic vehicle immobiliser and crash sensor. The new BMW 320d Edition Sport is priced at Rs 38.60 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
