The upcoming BMW 2 Series Coupe has been spied virtually undisguised while being shipped off for what is believed to be an ad shoot somewhere in Europe. The 2 Series Coupe is expected to replace 1 Series range of vehicles except in the hatchback and GT variants. The car that has been spied here is believed to be the M235i variant.
The BMW 2-Series has been spied testing quite a few times and this is the first occasion where the car has been spotted testing. Reports suggest that much like how the 3 Series is to 5 Series; the 2 will be to the 4 Series. We also know what the interiors of the 2 Series look will like as well most of the features being offered on it.
The BMW 2 Series range of vehicles will most likely be powered by the same set of mills and have the same underpinnings as the current 1 Series range and will join the 4 Series as a part of the German automaker new range of vehicles.
The range is expected to begin production by November which means that it will be launched for the European markets within the next few months. We can expect the sedan and Coupes to arrive here sometime next year obviously with the option of a diesel mill.
