Like every month, we have compiled a list of brands offering discounts. There aren’t many to talk about, but for those looking to buy hatchbacks, the options available are plenty across the price range.
Datsun: The seven-seater hatchback from Datsun, the GO Plus, is doing relatively well. The sales have improved in the last few months and one of the probable reasons for the change in fortune is the discounts available on the car. The dealerships are offering free insurance and low down payment schemes
Ford: Despite positive reviews, the Ford Figo and the Aspire sedan aren’t doing well. And with that, the twins are available for huge discounts across the country. The dealers are offering benefits in the range of Rs 80,000 to Rs 1,00,000 both on the hatchback and sedan. Even without the discounts, we think both of them are great products and the offers just make them more value-for-money.
Honda: The Jazz is losing out to both the Hyundai Elite i20 and the Maruti Baleno. The sales last month were just in triple digits and so the dealers are offering decent discounts to push the premium hatchback. Multiple dealers offered us discounts worth around Rs 40,000 on the hatchback, this month.
Hyundai: The Korean carmaker is offering discounts on majority of the products in its range apart from the Elite i20 and the Creta. The Eon gets benefits worth Rs 35,000, while the Grand i10 and Xcent have discounts in the range of Rs 47,000 to Rs 72,000. The Santa Fe, like in the past few months, is available for discounts worth Rs 1,00,000.
Toyota: The Etios Cross is available for official discounts worth Rs 20,000. The dealers however are offering even more for the budget, hatchback-based crossover.
