Last week during the Pebble Beach concourse, Bentley unveiled a Mulsanne convertible concept to a select audience. A successor to the Azure, the car is expected to be a four-seater. Bentley did not allow any photographs of the vehicle but it has released sketches.
From the drawings we can infer that the car will have a low roof line, highly raked windshield and an automatic fabric hood. Also expect the usual combination of leather, wood, steel and a big engine to be a part of the vehicle’s design.
Speaking on the concept, Wolfgang Durheimer, chairman and chief executive, said “the Convertible Concept will extend the appeal of the Mulsanne family, while enhancing the profile of the Bentley brand, particularly in new and emerging markets.”
An official release said that using the Mulsanne convertible concept, Bentley was providing a glimpse into the future of its car designs. We will give you more information on the car as soon as Bentley releases it.
