Bentley Motors has announced the details of the new Bentley Flying Spur V8 S Black Edition for those buyers who seek a luxury performance sedan in a more dynamic and darker shade.
The Bentley Flying Spur V8 S Black Edition adds a dash of sporty character through the glossy black trim on the mirrors, grille, the section around the windows and the door-handles. It even comes with huge seven-spoke 21-inch wheels that have a glossy black paint job. That aside, buyers get the option to choose between red and black brake calipers.
On the inside, the dark accents highlight the cabin. There are black center portions on the seats which are bordered by red accents all throughout, and there’s an abundance of piano-black trim splashed across. Furthermore, the driver also gets to taste a three-spoke Sport Plus steering wheel.
The Black Edition will be powered by a 4.0-litretwin-turbo V8 motor that makes 521bhp and 680Nm of torque. It helps the car accelerate to 100kmph from standstill in 4.9secs before achieving a top speed of 306kmph. An all-wheel-drive system is standard with a 40:60 front-rear torque bias.
Meanwhile, Bentley is believed to be working on the next generation car which is underpinned by the VW group’s MSB platform and will help shed a lot of weight. We will keep you posted on the details, so bookmark this page.
