Bentley has unveiled a new special trim for the Flying Spur, called Beluga Specification. This trim tries to give the super saloon an ‘athletic’ impression with the help of a host of cosmetic updates for the exterior and the interior.
Available exclusively for V8-powered Flying Spurs, the Beluga Specification gets 20-inch ‘Black and Bright’ alloy wheels, a gloss black radiator grille and a body-coloured lower grille bar. Inside, the Beluga Specification gives the Flying Spur a piano black veneer, knurled paddle shifters, contrasting stitch for the upholstery on the seats and steering wheel and thicker floor mats. For some extra moolah, Bentley also offers an additional Mulliner Driver Specification which gets six-spoke 21-inch wheels and diamond quilted upholstery.
Though the ‘athletic appeal’ tagline might suggest some serious performance upgrades, the Flying Spur continues to house the standard 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 under its bonnet. Producing 500bhp and 660Nm of torque, the engine sends power to all four wheels through an eight-speed ZF transmission. Deliveries in the UK are expected to commence in the last quarter of this year.
