Bentley Motors has reported its sales number for the initial six months of this year. The British luxury carmaker sold an impressive 5,254 units, showing a growth of 25 per cent as compared to the same period last year.
In the US market, Bentley sold 1,388 cars up by eight percent over the same period in 2013. The highest growth was seen in China where the company sold about 1,318 cars, up by 61 per cent. Good demand in Germany helped them close the sales increase of 11 per cent in Europe. With UK market showing a growth of two per cent with 713 cars sold in comparison to 698 in 2013.
Kevin Rose, Bentley's sales, marketing and after-sales chief, said: "We continue to prove we are the world's most sought-after luxury car brand.
"It's vital to continuously develop in our exclusive market, as our customers are the most discerning. There is no question that some markets will remain tough but we are confident of a good 2014."
Bentley is said to be all-set to have its most successful year (sales wise) throughout its 95-years of existence. The company claims introduction of new models like the new Flying Spur, Flying Spur V8 Continental GT V8 S coupe and convertible have helped the company clock more sales this year. In India, Bentley cars are officially imported and available through select dealerships.
