The ongoing Dubai Motorshow has witnessed the exhibition of a wide range of cars from various brands and from every segment. The British luxury automobile manufacturer, Bentley, too displayed a special edition of the luxury car Mulsanne named Shaheen here. It has specially been created for the Middle East.
Bentley Mulliner, the specialist personal commissioning department of Bentley Motors, handcrafted this special edition of the car playing a tribute to the Shaheen eagle which is given prime importance in the Middle Eastern civilisation and community practices. Apart from the exclusive 21-inch alloy wheels and Bentley Flying ‘B’ wing vents, the car gets plenty of changes with the interiors. Matching the colours of the Shaheen eagle, the car boasts Tungsten over Onyx paintwork, dark-stained Burr Walnut overlaid interiors and Magnolia and Beluga leather. The iPad picnic tables at the back of the cabin proclaim the signature Mulsanne Shaheen logo superimposed with gold. The other features on the car are the Mulliner Driving Specification, diamond-quilted leather-trimmed cabin, a wi-fi hotspot, a big tilt-opening, tinted glass sunroof and bottle cooler which is electrically operated.
The special edition retains the same 6.75-litre engine from the Mulsanne delivering a power output of 505bhp and 1,020Nm of torque. The suspension and steering is sports-tuned and driver-selectable.
With the Rolls-Royce’s Celestial Phantom and Chicane Phantom coupe also displayed at the Dubai International Motorshow, Bentley’s Mulsanne Shaheen will be available to the prospective buyers and fans of Bentley soon and will add to the super luxury cars in the Middle East car market.
