Bentley has launched a special edition of the Mulsanne in United Kingdom to ceremonialise the company's 95th anniversary. Named as Mulsanne 95, only 15 units of this limited edition car will be made and sold to customers in the UK only.
Just like the standard Bentley Mulsanne, which is a super luxury vehicle that has the look of a classic car with contemporary touches and features, this new edition is packed with a few new features to have an edge over the standard car. This model of the Mulsanne will come in three colours- britannia blue, empire red and oxford white. The company says they will make the car available in a wide range of design cues and a unique wood apart from different colours. The classic red, white and blue colour palette is complemented by 'eye-catching' exterior design touches according to the automaker. The Flying B mascot on the car will get a dark tint as the vehicle stands tall on 21-inch five-spoke wheels.
Coming to the interiors, the Mulsanne 95 gets a unique wood veneer, which is coupled with a blue and white two-tone leather split with contrast red stitching. The cabin features an illuminated door sill with 'Ninety Five' inscribed with the Union Jack. Another '95' emblem has been embroidered onto the front and rear seats along the passenger panel.
The Mulsanne 95 will be powered by the same engine as seen in the standard Mulsanne. This means a 6.75-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that churns out 505bhp of power at 4,200 rpm and 1,020 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm will be used.
Bentley has already started taking bookings of the Mulsanne 95 in the UK. The car will be only available in the UK and we won’t be able to see it on the Indian roads. Currently, only the standard Mulsanne is available in India and is brought through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route right from its birth place in England.
